For over 15 years, Salvatore “Sal” Carlucci has been a fixture of the downtown community, serving the city’s finest sausages and hot dogs. A three-time recipient of the ‘Golden Tong’ award (a local food blogger competition), Sal’s Cart is a testament to the resilience of the entrepreneurial spirit. Following a series of unfortunate, statistically improbable, and entirely unforeseeable incidents, Sal’s Cart has recently been upgraded to the Mark IV Urban Assault Vending Unit. The 13th Precinct is proud to recognize Sal’s Cart as an official (and highly durable) community partner.
